Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: June 23, 2026
The short version: 1vs.app earns a commission when you buy a tool through some of our links — at no extra cost to you. This never changes the price you pay, and it never influences our scores or rankings.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a special referral link. If you click one and make a purchase, the vendor pays us a small commission. This is a common way for review and comparison sites to fund their work.
How it affects you
It doesn't, in terms of price. You pay exactly the same amount whether you use our link or go directly. The only difference is that a portion may go to us as commission instead of the vendor keeping it.
How it does NOT affect our ratings
Our scores are generated from a fixed 4-dimension methodology using aggregated public reviews and community discussions, applied with standardized criteria. Whether a tool offers us a higher commission has zero bearing on its rating. Tools that pay us nothing regularly rank #1 in their categories, and tools that offer generous commissions still score low when the data warrants it.
We only feature tools we have personally tested and evaluated.
Why we do this
Running an independent review site costs money — research, hosting, and the time to keep data current. Affiliate commissions let us keep the site free for readers without paywalls or intrusive ads.
FTC compliance
This disclosure complies with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on the use of endorsements and testimonials in advertising. We disclose our affiliate relationships clearly so you can make informed decisions.
